Most of you people must have heard of it ”Popcorn Time” the free movies application that has gained popularity all over the world. It was originally created by someone from Argentina with the purpose of no more waiting to watch a movie. Popcorn Time’s developers started a new project called Butter Project. This is the so-called little brother of Popcorn Time. What’s the difference? The only difference is that u won’t be getting any legal issues using Butter.
Since Butter doesn’t have all the copyrighted movies in their collection u won’t have as much as movies as Popcorn Time. Will Popcorn Time Survive?
It’s going to be very hard to take down Popcorn Time. It’s a cat and mouse game cause if they take 1 site down another one just simply pops up. Some of the big Copyright Firms have tried to take down The piratebay before (torrent using site) and it’s still up after all these years so we think they’ve got lots of works to do if they wanna take down Popcorn Time.
But if they manage to take Popcorn Time offline there will always pop up another (similiar) service since the demand is very big. Who wouldn’t want to watch all the new movies for free?
